About The Position

The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for applying rigorous quality principles across design, production, and sustainment while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Requirements

  • STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above and/or equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Experience with corrective and preventive actions.
  • Experience implementing mistake proofing process controls.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to effectively interact, communicate, and built strong relationships with management at all levels, as well as customers and stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, mechanisms and equivalent; conducting product quality tests, performing statistical analysis to assess product or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Nice To Haves

  • STEM degree at the Bachelor level or above preferred.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Experience with developing statistical process control run charts and Tableau.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with expertise in Excel.
  • Ability to work with multiple internal and external customers, including DCMA customers.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes and electronic assemblies, e.g. epoxy/sealant application, painting, electro-mechanical assembly, optics, soldering, cable & harness fabrication, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to resolve quality-related issues.
  • Leading product failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective-preventive actions.
  • Designing and analyzing inspection and testing processes, including statistical analysis of non-conforming material.
  • Developing and maintaining statistical dashboards and automating manual data-analysis tasks to increase efficiency.
  • Producing weekly, monthly, and program-level quality status reports for leadership.
