Senior Quality Engineer / SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test)

This role involves delivering quality assurance for Data Engineering, determining exit criteria, contributing to the automation roadmap, and maintaining awareness of audit compliance commitments. You will be working on Quality Engineering, analysis, development, or DevOps stories as part of a squad, utilizing agile experience for sizing stories and assisting with sprint planning. Collaboration with squad resources is essential to ensure testing efforts are completed by the team. You will also scan for opportunities to bring outside-in innovation to the WI Quality Engineering Team and work with your scrum team to integrate quality early in the process and coordinate quality activities throughout the epic lifecycle.
Requirements
- 6-9 years of Software Development or proven relevant experience
- 2 years of Big Data, Data Lake, or Data Warehouse experience
- 6-9 years of Software Quality Assurance or solid experience
- Expert knowledge of application software development QA principles and agile methodology
- Ability to work effectively with product development, external teams, and management
- Knowledge of CICD Pipelines
- Strong SQL skills
- Java and Python development experience
- Experience as Software Engineer in test automation of RESTful services
- Experience with Cucumber, Junit, Selenium, Rest Assured, Git, Gradle, Maven
- Data Engineer working with the latest Big Data technologies and tools (Snowflake, Airflow, AWS, Azure)
- Experienced in Big Data Reporting Tools (OBIEE, Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with ETL Data Pipeline testing of Data Warehouse platforms
- Exposure to iCEDQ test tool preferred

- Experience in retirement plan administration or financial services
- Knowledge of data pipeline testing
- ISTQB Certification
