This role involves delivering quality assurance for Data Engineering, leveraging your overall QA experience. You will be responsible for building an end-to-end test strategy, determining exit criteria, contributing to the automation roadmap, and maintaining a strong awareness of audit compliance commitments. Daily tasks may include working on Quality Engineering, analysis, development, or DevOps stories as part of a squad, utilizing your agile experience for story sizing and sprint planning. You will collaborate with squad resources to ensure testing efforts are completed by the team and contribute to the wider WI Quality Engineering Team by identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement. You will work with your scrum team to integrate quality early in the process and coordinate quality activities throughout the epic lifecycle.

Requirements

• 6-9 years of Software Development or proven relevant experience.
• 2 years of Big Data, Data Lake, or Data Warehouse experience.
• 6-9 years of Software Quality Assurance or solid experience.
• Expert knowledge of application software development QA principles and agile methodology.
• Ability to work effectively with product development, external teams, and management.
• Knowledge of CICD Pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Java and Python development experience.
• Experience as Software Engineer in test automation of RESTful services.
• Experience with Cucumber, Junit, Selenium, Rest Assured, Git, Gradle, Maven.
• Data Engineer working with the latest Big Data technologies and tools like Snowflake, Airflow, AWS, Azure.
• Experienced in Big Data Reporting Tools like OBIEE, Tableau, Power BI.
• Experience with ETL Data Pipeline testing of Data Warehouse platforms.
• Exposure to iCEDQ test tool preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in retirement plan administration or financial services.
• Knowledge of data pipeline testing.
• ISTQB Certification.
