About The Position
The Senior Quality Assurance role is responsible for developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks, automating API testing, enhancing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring code quality. This position involves creating test strategies, automating various workflows including CRUD operations and ETL processes, and integrating test automation with cloud platforms and containerization tools. The role also includes implementing AI-driven automation, developing scripts for system performance monitoring, and collaborating with development teams to improve test coverage and resolve issues. Additionally, the Senior Quality Assurance will automate system interfaces, manage version control systems, and maintain documentation of test processes and frameworks, while staying updated on industry trends and adopting new technologies. A key aspect of this role involves working with Kafka for message queue management, topic creation, event-driven testing, and developing/testing Kafka-based data pipelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electronic Engineering
- 8 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or 8 years of progressive, postbaccalaureate experience in a related occupation supporting and managing QA resources
- Understanding multi-tier web application architecture and microservice technologies
- Working on database, ability to write basic SQL/NOSQL queries
- Utilizing scripting skills including Groovy, Java test automation rest assured, Spock, Selenium, Cucumber, and API automation
- Working with basic programming skills including technology stack, KAKFA, NoSQL Database, Kubernetes and CI/CD Concepts
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust automation frameworks using Java, Python, and Groovy.
- Automate REST API testing and enhance CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins.
- Utilize tools like Selenium, Spock, Zephyr and Katalon for testing.
- Create test strategies, automate workflows, CRUD operations, and ETL processes.
- Integrate test automation with cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Use containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes for scalable test environments.
- Implement AI-driven automation for generating test cases and optimizing execution.
- Ensure code quality with tools like SonarQube.
- Automate release note generation and manage Jenkins pipelines.
- Develop scripts for system performance monitoring using Grafana and Splunk.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and improve test coverage.
- Automate system interfaces like REST & CLI.
- Ensure efficient test execution across various platforms.
- Manage version control systems such as GitHub and Bitbucket.
- Leverage Docker, Kubernetes, and Ansible for deployment and orchestration.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test processes and frameworks.
- Stay updated on industry trends and adopt new technologies.
- Build custom test libraries and frameworks from scratch.
- Optimize data retrieval and automate complex workflows.
- Integrate test automation seamlessly into production environments.
- Work with Kafka for message queue management, topic creation, and event-driven testing.
- Configure and troubleshoot Kafka servers and topics for seamless integration into test workflows.
- Develop and test Kafka-based data pipelines for real-time processing and validation.
