The Senior Quality Analyst role involves designing, developing, and executing test plans and strategies using various testing techniques. This includes writing and executing test cases, troubleshooting defects, and determining integrated testing solutions that account for cross-organizational dependencies. The position requires a deep understanding of the entire customer experience, including sales, ordering, provisioning, activation, billing, payment processing, and customer service, particularly for End-to-End (E2E) testing. This also involves extensive knowledge of the Network for integrated IT/Network tests to ensure services function correctly, are billed accurately, and issues can be resolved. The role includes overseeing quality assurance processes, defining optimal solutions for issues, and implementing in-house quality procedures. A key aspect is developing automation strategies to improve test execution, manual test coverage, and regression testing consistency. Collaboration with Program Managers, Dev leads, and Architects is essential for identifying test scenarios for large programs. The analyst will also develop data and environment strategies using architectural skills to meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Responsibilities include reporting defects, analyzing test results, reporting test metrics, and preparing test reports. Proactive and regular communication of progress through various channels (governance calls, stand-up calls, formal jeopardies, escalations, daily/weekly progress reports, defect metrics collections) is expected. The role also involves coordinating with teams across the Software Development Life Cycle and facilitating certification for production deployment.
