Requirements

  • Candidate must be bilingual (French and English)
  • Must have 4 - 5 years Quality Assurance Environment experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical engine maintenance or repair shop experience.
  • Experience working in aerospace
  • Recognized academic Quality Assurance training or equivalent
  • In this function the candidate must be open-minded to address Culture Change, listening and share best practices within the Safety Culture mind
  • Abilities to support shop floor employees and other support groups with QA and regulatory related issues
  • Knowledge of performing investigations in a Quality Assurance environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses.
  • Quality Assurance support/liaison with various areas such as operations, repair center, engineering, and other global sites.
  • Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies.
  • Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, repair center, and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met.
  • Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, and modifications.
  • Participate and lead different workshops.
  • Lead internal and external audits with different regulatory bodies and international standards and customers.
  • Participates with our DAO team as a Quality support.
