About The Position

The Executive Office of Education is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to support and maintain Background Record Check (BRC) applications. The role encompasses functional testing, production support, and assistance for the Contact Center and Background Record Check staff to help ensure high system reliability, data integrity, and an exceptional user experience for internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with SQL, some automated testing techniques, JIRA (including Xray), and foundational administrative tasks, along with strong analytical, troubleshooting, and professional communication skills. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or valid Green Card holders.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or valid Green Card holder.
• Proficiency with SQL.
• Some automated testing techniques.
• Experience with JIRA, including Xray.
• Foundational administrative skills.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert quality assurance services.
• Perform and lead tests to ensure that all systems meet minimum standards and requirements.
• Work closely with the applications team.
• Create complex test data for applications’ document-testing data.
• Devise improvements to current procedures and develop models of possible future configurations.
• Perform complex workflow analysis and recommend improvements.
• Support and maintain Background Record Check applications.
• Provide functional testing, production support, and assistance to the Contact Center and Background Record Check staff.
