About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior QA Analyst for a hybrid, 6+ month contract opportunity with a Global Financial Institution in Charlotte, NC. This role supports a Cyber Data Operations team and involves QA testing for a data warehouse and data dashboards. The candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, tracking them, and verifying requirements to ensure reliable systems.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or business systems analysis
• Comprehensive knowledge of and experience in the use of Test management tools such as JIRA
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile or Scrum frameworks
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Must be able to scrub and analyze data
• Strong experience writing SQL queries, familiarity with joins, CTEs, looking for data outliers, etc

Nice To Haves

• Financial services and banking background preferred
• Experience in use of Confluence

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements
• Perform manual and automated testing across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance phases
• Document defects clearly and collaborate with developers to resolve issues
• Ensure traceability of requirements and maintain test documentation
• Participate in agile scrum calls with the project team
• Provide feedback on system usability and stability
• Identify, evaluate, and manage the documentation and deliverables required for each project testing and automation
