About The Position

PLEXIS Healthcare Systems, Inc., a progressive software development company in Medford, OR, is looking to hire an enthusiastic and experienced QA Analyst. The candidate must be local to the Southern Oregon area. The QA Analyst ensures high-quality software delivery through a combination of manual and automated testing, risk analysis, and validation across the SDLC. This role also leverages AI-assisted testing tools and automation frameworks to improve efficiency, accuracy, and coverage in healthcare software validation.

Requirements

BS degree in Computer Science and/or demonstration of equivalent experience
3+ years of QA or software testing experience, preferably in healthcare or health IT
Knowledge of AI-assisted testing tools and automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Claude Code)
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted and AI-augmented testing tools for test generation, self-healing automation, and defect/results analysis
Moderate to advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware
Moderate to advanced knowledge of troubleshooting and testing methodologies
Basic to advanced mathematics with an understanding of basic to complex software logic
Moderate to advanced knowledge of software development and the SDLC
Strong attention to detail
Solid troubleshooting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience testing Web Application, Web Services, and REST/SOAP API’s
Ability to systematically analyze new and/or existing software functionality
Ability to create and maintain databases using MS SSMS
Ability to interact cohesively in a collaborative and cross functional team environment
Ability to read, understand, and interpret a variety of internal and external documentation
Ability to use available reference materials to exhaustively research software functionality

Experience with automated testing software and methodologies
Experience in the healthcare payer claims processing industry
Hands-on experience with AI-assisted and AI-augmented testing tools for test generation, self-healing automation, defect/results analysis, and review and validate AI artifacts
Use AI-assisted testing tools to generate, author, and maintain manual and automated test cases from requirements, user stories, and design artifacts
Ability to create, read, and understand TSQL
Ability to create, read, and understand PowerShell source code
Ability to create, read, and understand C# source code
Ability to create, read, and understand EDI transactions (TR3/X12)
Experience automating API’s (REST/SOAP) with ReadyAPI (Functional/Performance/Security)
Experience automating database data population
Experience automating Web Applications

Responsibilities

Create manual and automated test cases and test case scripts
Perform automated and manual testing, analyzing, and documenting associated results
Document defects with detail, accuracy, and conciseness while ensuring the defect is reproducible
Provide risk assessment and other feedback throughout the SDLC
Review and analyze artifacts and deliverables throughout the SDLC
Map requirements to functional design elements and/or system workflows for test creation
Troubleshoot complex setups to isolate, determine, and report defect root cause
Review user documentation for accuracy of implemented functionality descriptions
