About The Position

As a Senior Python Developer (w/m/d), you will be part of our highly qualified in-house development team. You will independently implement tickets and support other team members, especially with questions regarding code structure and software architecture. You will significantly contribute to delivering robust features quickly that provide direct added value to our customers and users. In doing so, you will make an important contribution to the success of our SaaS solution opti.node and thus also to the energy transition. node.energy, with its smart Software-as-a-Service solutions, enables professional operators. Our software opti.node consolidates all data for the commercial operation of wind and PV plants and automates demanding administrative tasks and energy industry business processes. Our customers not only save hundreds of hours of tedious and error-prone work with Excel lists, but they also become digital energy suppliers of the new generation. Today, operators of more than 14,000 wind and PV plants, which generate more than a third of German green electricity, already rely on opti.node. And this is where you come in: We are looking for you as a Senior Python Developer (w/m/d), full-time or part-time, as soon as possible. We look forward to getting to know you!

Requirements

• You have at least 8 years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in web applications.
• You possess very good programming skills and excellent technical understanding - knowledge of our tech stack is highly desirable, which includes: Django, Litestar, Redis, Postgresql.
• You have a very good understanding of software architectures.
• You speak fluent German (our company language) and writing technical documents in English is not a problem for you.
• You are eager to stay up-to-date with current trends and (state-of-the-art) technologies and to further develop your knowledge in these areas.
• You are passionate about making the energy world of tomorrow climate-friendly with us!

Nice To Haves

• Ideally, you also have knowledge in the area of DevOps (Docker, Kubernetes) and Managed Clouds (Azure, AWS...).

Responsibilities

• You will be involved in the entire software development process - from requirements analysis, implementation, and testing to deployment.
• You will plan and design the technical implementation of new features for our products.
• With your implementations, code reviews, and creative solutions, you will ensure high quality and thus satisfied customers.
• You will act as a technical contact person (w/m/d) for the development team and the Product Owner for technical questions.
• You will gladly pass on your knowledge and empower colleagues to solve new challenges.
