About The Position

Marsh is seeking a Senior Property Broker to join our Risk Management Placement team in New York. In this role, you will lead property damage and business interruption advisory and placement for some of our largest companies. You will analyze and assess complex property and business interruption risks, design and structure comprehensive insurance programs and coverage frameworks, and market insurance programs while negotiating with national and international insurers. You will also provide technical leadership and subject-matter expertise within the Property Practice, support standards, templates, and best practices for the team, and stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices. Additionally, you will support cross-organizational initiatives, including sales efforts and ad hoc projects to improve service models and processes.

Requirements

• Extensive experience with property insurance, with proven technical expertise.
• Proven track record with large, complex property risks.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional accreditation.
• Strong analytical skills in risk assessment and program design.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a high ambition for quality.
• Commercial mindset and international outlook.
