About The Position

Marsh is seeking a Senior Property Broker to join their Risk Management Placement team in New York. This role involves leading property damage and business interruption advisory and placement for large companies, analyzing complex risks, designing insurance programs, and negotiating with insurers. The position also requires providing technical leadership within the Property Practice, supporting best practices, staying updated on industry developments, and contributing to cross-organizational initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional accreditation.

Responsibilities

  • Lead property damage and business interruption advisory and placement for some of our largest companies.
  • Analyze and assess complex property and business interruption risks.
  • Design and structure comprehensive insurance programs and coverage frameworks.
  • Market insurance programs and negotiating with national and international insurers.
  • Provide technical leadership and subject-matter expertise within the Property Practice.
  • Support standards, templates, and best practices for the team.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices.
  • Support cross-organizational initiatives, including sales efforts and ad hoc projects to improve service models and processes.
