The position involves preparing monthly financial statements, performing bank and mortgage escrow account reconciliations, making journal entries, and reconciling balance sheets. The Senior Property Accountant will also record transactions from closing statements, calculate owner distributions, monitor cash flow and accounts payable, and validate management fee calculations. Additionally, the role involves assisting owners with year-end audit/tax reporting, developing cash forecasts, onboarding new properties, and training accounting team members.
