About The Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Planning Consultant to support a product development initiative. This six-week engagement will focus on building a comprehensive, integrated project plan spanning hardware, software, and firmware development activities, including associated testing and validation efforts. The project involves internal engineering teams, cross-functional stakeholders, and external partners. While strong technical expertise is already in place, the organization requires project planning support to speed up and optimize the execution roadmap. The primary deliverable is a detailed, actionable project plan that enables effective project governance and successful execution. This is an initial six-week contract focused on developing the project plan. Upon completion of the engagement, project needs and progress will be assessed. Depending on business requirements and performance, there may be an opportunity for additional contract work; however, no future engagement is guaranteed.

Requirements

• Results-driven project management professional.
• Proven track record of planning and coordinating product development projects.
• Strong expertise in building integrated project schedules.
• Expertise in work breakdown structures, task sequencing, resource planning, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, and risk considerations.
• Comfortable engaging with engineering teams, senior stakeholders, cross-functional departments, and external suppliers.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to quickly assess complex project environments.
• Ability to deliver a robust, executable project plan within a six-week timeframe.

Responsibilities
