About The Position

BGE, Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join its Land/Site Development team in Austin, Texas. The role is open to candidates with experience in land development, site development, residential, commercial, mixed-use, or similar civil engineering projects. Candidates who are already leading projects and working with clients, even if they do not yet hold the Senior Project Manager title, are also encouraged to apply.

The position leads civil engineering land and/or site development projects from planning and design through delivery. It includes managing design efforts, project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations; serving as a primary point of contact for clients and project partners; mentoring engineers and design staff; and developing client relationships and market opportunities. The work covers projects throughout Central Texas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Texas PE license, or ability to obtain one through reciprocity.
• At least 8 years of civil engineering experience; land or site development experience is preferred.
• Project management or significant project-lead experience.
• Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar civil design software.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering land and/or site development projects.
• Lead design efforts involving grading, drainage, utilities, paving, water, wastewater, and related infrastructure.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and project partners.
• Lead and mentor engineers and design staff.
• Grow existing client relationships and identify additional growth opportunities in the market.
