About The Position

BGE, Inc. is seeking an experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join its Land/Site Development team in Austin, Texas. The role offers ownership and leadership of civil engineering projects across land and site development, including residential, commercial, mixed-use, and similar projects throughout Central Texas. A strong Project Manager already leading projects and working with clients may also be considered for the opportunity to take on greater responsibility.

The Senior Project Manager manages projects from planning and design through delivery, leads design efforts for civil infrastructure, and oversees schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations. The role serves as a primary client and project-partner contact, mentors engineers and design staff, and helps grow client relationships and identify additional market opportunities. The role is based in North or South Austin.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Texas PE license, or ability to obtain one through reciprocity.
• Eight or more years of civil engineering experience, preferably in land or site development.
• Project management or significant project-lead experience.
• Experience with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or similar civil design software.
• Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage civil engineering land and/or site development projects.
• Lead design efforts involving grading, drainage, utilities, paving, water, wastewater, and related infrastructure.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and client expectations.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and project partners.
• Lead and mentor engineers and design staff.
• Grow existing client relationships and recognize additional growth opportunities in the market.
