About The Position

The Senior Project Manager serves as the strategic interface for executive sponsors, program owners, contracting officers, and technical leads across complex federal and DoD engagements. The role owns the full lifecycle of BMC Helix implementations, from initiation through deployment and sustainment, and establishes delivery governance, communication rhythms, and executive-ready reporting. The Project Manager aligns mission objectives, contractual obligations, and delivery outcomes while maintaining disciplined execution across scope, schedule, cost, and quality. The role builds integrated project plans, resource models, RACI matrices, risk registers, dependency maps, and financial forecasts; directs cross-functional teams through design, configuration, testing, deployment, and operational transition; and maintains project documentation and compliance artifacts. It leads secure solution architecture planning and deployment involving CAC/PIV authentication, PKI, secure API gateways, cross-domain data flows, and zero-trust network boundaries. The position coordinates with federal cybersecurity teams on RMF, NIST 800-53, DISA STIG, and agency-specific requirements, and manages deployments to AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, and other restricted cloud environments with IL4/IL5/IL6 controls and audit readiness. The Senior Project Manager also leads cutover planning, knowledge transfer, sustainment readiness, and post-deployment validation; defines support models, SLAs, and escalation paths; conducts lessons-learned reviews; and contributes to internal delivery playbooks. The role manages budgets, revenue forecasts, burn rates, and contract deliverables, ensures compliance with federal contracting requirements, and identifies opportunities for expansion and long-term account growth.
