About The Position

The Senior Project Manager leads the execution of complex commercial electronic security systems and/or structured cabling projects, overseeing large-scale installations from initial planning through final completion. The role is responsible for delivering projects on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards in fast-paced construction environments. It coordinates field teams, subcontractors, vendors, customers, and other stakeholders while managing project financials and contractual requirements. The position may involve travel to customer locations and active construction sites, work in office and construction environments, and site visits.

Requirements

At least 5 years of project management experience within the electronic security, low-voltage, or systems integration industry.
Demonstrated experience managing large, complex commercial construction, structured cabling, or security installation projects.
Strong understanding of access control, video surveillance, and integrated technologies.
Experience managing project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field installation teams.
Ability to interpret construction drawings, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to travel to customer locations and active construction sites as needed.
Comfortable working in office and construction environments.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally, with occasional overnight travel.
Ability to perform site visits and meet the physical requirements associated with construction environments.

Nice To Haves

Experience managing multimillion-dollar security integration projects.
Familiarity with major access control and video management platforms.
PMP certification or related project management training.
Associate's or bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, technology, or a related discipline.
Experience working directly with general contractors on large commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee multiple large-scale electronic security projects, including access control, video surveillance, and integrated security solutions.
Manage all phases of project execution, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, installation, testing, and closeout.
Lead and coordinate project teams, field technicians, subcontractors, and external partners.
Monitor project financials, manage costs, and maintain profitability while meeting contractual requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, and other key project stakeholders.
Identify potential project challenges and implement solutions to minimize delays and financial exposure.
Coordinate equipment purchasing, material availability, manpower planning, and subcontractor resources.
Ensure projects meet applicable safety requirements, quality standards, and customer expectations.
Provide updates on project milestones, budgets, schedules, and overall performance.
Build customer relationships that support long-term partnerships and future business opportunities.
Mentor project personnel and promote accountability, collaboration, and operational efficiency.
