About The Position

Adventist HealthCare seeks to hire an experienced Senior Project Manager for our Facilities & Real Estate department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Senior Facilities Project Manager, you will manage (Plan, track, evaluate, execute) a wide range of projects to complete on schedule and budget, to the approved scope of work. You will ensure project progression of construction projects, using critical skills in project management, transition management, space planning, medical equipment planning, IT/ Security coordination, furniture management, signage planning, and any design standards. You will prepare & communicate required information to client representatives and entity leadership to determine resources, method of delivery and project status. Coordinate with end-users / Adventist Healthcare departments on all aspects of project delivery. Coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines including third party vendors to solve complex issues using a deep knowledge of construction methodologies and procedures. Coordinate project closeout process to ensure project scope and quality standards are met and facilitate end-user transition and occupancy. Develop forms and records to document project activities. Set up files in ProCore and other project related repositories to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured. Establish and prepare a communication plan schedule to update stakeholders including appropriate staff in the organization on the status of current and upcoming projects. Mentor and be a resource for younger project managers who may have gaps in their knowledge or experience as we build them up to grow within the organization. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Arch, Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, required.
  • 5 or more years’ experience managing construction projects in the healthcare industry, required.
  • Registered Architect, Professional Engineer, or Project Management Professional (PMP), Required.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years in a construction supervisory, preferred.
