About The Position

Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a contract-to-hire position with a Major Financial Institution. This role is hybrid and located in Brooklyn, OH or Albany, NY. The position involves leading system implementation and application development projects in a dynamic environment. The Senior Project Manager will oversee projects from scope definition through completion, managing third-party vendors and virtual teams to achieve business objectives within the financial services industry.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum five years of increasingly complex project-related experience
Knowledge and experience in the financial services industry is a plus
Knowledge and experience with standard project development/management methodologies and tools
Knowledge and experience with managing system implementation projects
Familiar with Jira, Scrum, Agile, and Waterfall practices
Familiar with application development practices and cloud, network, and security infrastructure components
Familiar with real estate capital markets business
Demonstrates critical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict management skills
Organized, self-disciplined, and leads others towards common outcomes
Highly polished and confident communication ability (written, verbal, and presentation skills)

Responsibilities

Lead system implementation/application development and/or front/back-end processing projects
Develop and grow partnerships with senior functional managers and their management teams
Define and manage project scope, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and value proposition
Develop integrated project plans, manage dependencies, and track milestones
Estimate resource needs, track utilization, and manage vendor performance
Draft and submit project budget proposals, conduct cost forecasting, and manage variance reporting
Identify, track, escalate, and resolve issues and risks
Lead communication planning, execution, and reporting with project team members and key stakeholders
Support development of change management planning, design, and implementation
Manage documentation, knowledge transfer, and execution of vendor contracts
