About The Position

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects across the credit union. This role partners with leaders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while supporting organizational goals, member experience initiatives, regulatory requirements, and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • An associate’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management or related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in managing projects, preferably in a Credit Union or similar business.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple concurrent projects from initiation through implementation and post-project review.
  • Establish project scope, objectives, milestones, and tasks; communicate these aspects of the project to key team members and stakeholders.
  • Develop project timelines, budgets, resource plans, and communication plans. Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within approved budgets.
  • Delegate tasks and assignments to appropriate areas of the credit union.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Prepare and present project status reports and recommendations to appropriate leadership.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, technology partners, and external vendors.
  • Facilitates project meetings, status updates, communicate project risks and dependencies.
  • Coordinate testing, training, deployment, and adoption activities.
  • Track project outcomes and business objectives following implementation to ensure expected project benefits are achieved.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes, operational efficiency, and member service delivery.
  • Support organizational change management efforts related to new systems, products, and processes.
  • Serve as a resource to leadership in organizing and coordinating strategic and organizational initiatives, including objectives, ownership, timelines, and key milestones.
  • Serve as a resource for departments by providing tools, templates, guidance, and planning support for initiatives that do not require formal project management.
  • Document current and future-state workflows and recommend process enhancements.
  • Maintain working knowledge of Project Management techniques and industry standards.
  • Stays up to date on business operations, member expectations, leadership expectations and new technologies that would improve efficiencies within the credit union.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
