About The Position

The Project Manager oversees one or more projects on an ongoing and regular basis. Individually, or as part of a team, responsible for project planning and statusing, risk management, and issue resolution. Duties may include: assembling project team, assigning individual responsibilities, identifying appropriate resources needed, developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project, communicating project status and issues to team and management, acting to reduce risk and resolve issues. Coordinates with other projects and work groups.

Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of project management methodologies, governance practices, and delivery frameworks.
  • Experience managing large, complex projects with multiple interdependencies.
  • Strong risk management, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning capabilities.
  • Expertise in executive communications, stakeholder management, and change management.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and Scrum practices.
  • Experience serving as Scrum Master or Agile project lead.
  • Experience facilitating sprint planning, release planning, backlog management, and Agile metrics.
  • Understanding of data conversion, data migration, data warehousing, and datamart concepts.
  • Experience coordinating business and technology teams during platform modernization initiatives.
  • Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar project management tools.
  • Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
  • Reporting and dashboard tools used for project status and KPI reporting.
  • Collaboration and workflow management platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Project Management, Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 8+ years of project management experience leading business and technology initiatives.
  • Experience managing large-scale cross-functional projects from initiation through implementation.
  • Experience facilitating executive-level communications and governance.
  • Demonstrated success managing multiple concurrent priorities and stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate organizational goals into executable plans while maintaining alignment to business objectives.
  • Builds alignment among diverse teams and influences outcomes without direct authority.
  • Drives projects to completion while balancing scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
  • Facilitates Agile processes that improve team effectiveness and delivery predictability.

Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from initial concept through implementation, transition, and operational handoff.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, resource plans, risk registers, issue logs, budgets, and status reporting.
  • Facilitate project governance, steering committee reviews, and executive communications.
  • Coordinate project dependencies across business units, technology teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project performance and proactively identify risks, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
  • Ensure project activities and deliverables align with operational, financial, compliance, and strategic objectives.
  • Conduct project meetings and provide timely status updates to sponsors and leadership.
  • Drive issue resolution and decision-making to maintain project momentum and delivery timelines.
  • Lead the conversion of existing legacy title plants into the New Title Plant (NTP) database structure and supporting datamart environment.
  • Coordinate activities among DOCS, technology, data engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders.
  • Manage migration plans, conversion schedules, testing activities, cutover strategies, and post-implementation support.
  • Identify and resolve data quality, process, and integration challenges associated with title plant modernization.
  • Establish project metrics and reporting to track conversion progress and business outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for Universal Record platform initiatives spanning multiple workgroups and departments.
  • Facilitate alignment between business priorities, technical requirements, release schedules, and operational impacts.
  • Manage enhancement requests, dependency tracking, stakeholder communications, and implementation planning.
  • Ensure platform changes are evaluated for downstream impacts and coordinated across affected teams.
  • Act as Scrum Master and delivery lead for the OCR Manufacturing platform.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
  • Partner with Product Owners and engineering teams to prioritize work and maintain a healthy product backlog.
  • Track sprint metrics and team performance to support continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate releases and production deployments while ensuring readiness across impacted teams.
  • Promote project management and Agile best practices throughout the organization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, governance, communication, and resource utilization.
  • Mentor project team members and less experienced staff in project management methodologies and tools.
