About The Position

The Senior Project Manager will support and deliver complex financial system initiatives for federal clients, with a focus on Oracle Federal Financials. The role combines project management expertise with functional knowledge of Oracle Federal Financials and involves supporting implementations, upgrades, and enhancements. Experience supporting agencies such as the Department of Commerce is highly preferred. The position requires a proactive leader who can manage cross-functional teams, provide exemplary customer service, ensure compliance with federal financial regulations, and drive successful project outcomes. The role is hybrid in the Washington, DC metro area.

Requirements

At least 7 years of project management experience, including leading enterprise system implementations.
3–5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle Federal Financials, such as GL, AP, AR, Budget Execution, or Treasury integration.
Demonstrated experience producing a bureau-wide, agency-wide, or Department-wide budget formulation product.
Demonstrated experience supporting federal agencies; Department of Commerce experience is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of federal financial processes and compliance requirements.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance; an active clearance is preferred.

Nice To Haves

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP or R12 implementations in federal environments.
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
Experience working in a consulting or government contracting environment.
Department of Commerce experience.
Active federal security clearance.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project management for Oracle Federal Financials implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact and resolve customer issues promptly and professionally.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
Coordinate with federal stakeholders to define requirements, priorities, and success metrics.
Facilitate communication among technical teams, functional users, and executive leadership.
Manage project scope, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Prepare and deliver status reports, briefings, and stakeholder documentation.
Support change management and user adoption initiatives.
