About The Position

The Climate resiliency, Sustainability, Air and Acoustics (CRSAA) team is looking for a Senior Project Manager - Noise and Vibration to work on a wide array of infrastructure, building and industrial projects. Requirements

  • University degree in engineering or science
  • 10+ years of experience in acoustics and vibration engineering, including environmental noise and vibration measurements, acoustic calculations, and impact/compliance studies
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge in acoustics and vibration fundamentals, including human perception, sound propagation in free and reverberant fields, and general noise and vibration control methods
  • Demonstrated experience managing technical projects, including planning, coordination, and delivery
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to prepare technical reports and client-facing documentation
  • Driver's license and car

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or CAPM certification is an asset
  • Bilingualism in French is an Asset

Responsibilities

  • Plan and undertake field noise and vibration measurements and data analysis
  • Conduct impact, compliance, and noise reduction studies for industrial, road, rail, renewable energy, buildings, institutional projects, etc.
  • Perform indoor and outdoor sound propagation calculations using specialized software, including calculation verification and peer review
  • Evaluate mitigation measures and verify their performance
  • Write and contribute to study reports
  • Prepare service proposals and participate to business development activities
  • Manage projects
