About The Position

Mantis Innovation is hiring a Senior Project Manager, Mechanical Systems to own delivery of mechanical, utility, and energy infrastructure projects from the first site visit through closeout. This senior, client-facing role translates complex facility needs into well-scoped, financially sound projects and leads engineering resources, contractors, and field execution to deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget. The position serves as the primary point of accountability for a portfolio of commercial, industrial, and public-sector projects; guides clients through investment decisions; manages project financials and risk; and mentors project engineers and coordinators. The role develops and oversees projects involving HVAC, central plants, utilities, and energy efficiency, including site surveys, feasibility studies, investment-grade estimates, design oversight, construction, commissioning, and closeout. It also manages budgets, schedules, contractor performance, change control, client relationships, and follow-on opportunities. Frequent local travel to client sites throughout the greater Connecticut-Massachusetts area is expected, with occasional regional or overnight travel. Work generally takes place during standard business hours, with flexibility and occasional early, evening, or extended hours as project needs require. The work environment combines office, remote, client-site, and field settings.
