Senior Project Coordinator

DataMap•Overland Park, KS
•$60,000 - $80,000

About The Position

DataMap is hiring a Senior Project Coordinator to support project managers across multiple concurrent projects, including customer, partner, partnership-growth, internal, and operations work. The role independently coordinates assigned workstreams from planning through completion, maintains project schedules and records, and raises decisions and open issues to the responsible project manager. Project managers retain ownership of client relationships and business outcomes, as well as business development and commercial conversations. The Senior Project Coordinator runs delegated workstreams, maintains PMO governance and project documentation, coordinates stakeholders, and prepares client-ready status reports, budgets, and dashboards. AI tools are used every day to draft plans, identify risks, capture meetings, and prepare status reports; the coordinator reviews AI-generated drafts and helps improve the team's coordination workflows. The role also supports user acceptance testing, workshops, and cutover activities, and mentors Project Coordinators. This is a senior support role on DataMap's five-level project management career ladder. Strong performers may progress to Project Manager, subject to performance and business needs. The position supports work involving enterprise platform implementations and software development, as well as the internal and operational projects that help DataMap run and grow.
