About The Position

If you have 12+ years experience as a technical project architect and a drive to lead meaningful projects, we'd love to connect and hear your story! As a healthcare project architect at DGA, you will manage multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination to meet client expectations (program, design, schedule). You will also manage communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants, provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges, and advocate to create accurate and descriptive technical documents. You will also be responsible for experience with project delivery methods (e.g. traditional design-bid build; design-build; design-assist; IPD; etc.) and maintaining existing client relationships and building new client relationships.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of relevant experience as a technical interiors project architect with relevant experience in healthcare specific projects.
  • Bachelors or Masters in Architecture or related field required
  • Licensed or registered architect preferred
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Working knowledge of building codes, standards, building construction, and building structures
  • Manage the development of the project manual and specifications
  • Revit (mandatory)
  • AutoCAD (mandatory)
  • Excellent prioritization at managing multiple deadlines
  • Applicants for this position must have unrestricted right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple aspects of client, team and project coordination, including full documentation coordination to meet client expectations (program, design, schedule)
  • Manage communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, and consultants
  • Provide technical guidance and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges
  • Advocate to create accurate and descriptive technical documents
  • Conduct on-site observations and document site reviews
  • Process submittals, RFIs, substitution requests, etc. during construction
  • Interface with building and permitting officials during the permitting and construction phases of the project
