About The Position

Space Systems Integration (SSI) is a fast-growing engineering company that provides aerospace solutions to a variety of government and commercial customers. SSI is seeking a Senior Program Analyst for a role in El Segundo, CA. This position will address program cost, technical, and schedule alignment from cradle to lift-off!

Requirements

Bachelors and fifteen (15) years or more of related experience; Masters and thirteen (13) years or more experience; PhD or JD and ten (10) years or more experience.
Experience developing data models integrating program financial and technical data to support actionable decision recommendations.
Proficiency in Excel.
Space or Aerospace Acquisition experience.
Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance and CI polygraph (polygraph within the last ten (10) years).
Must meet all requirements for SCI and SAP access and be willing to undergo a polygraph examination.

Nice To Haves

Master Degree in Business Management, technical management, and/or engineering.
Professional certifications (e.g., PMI PMP).
Experience in the National Security Space and, or the Space Control mission area.
Experience in government weapon systems acquisitions and program management and, or Contracts management within the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities

Provide advice to Program/Project Managers regarding acquisition strategies, schedules, contracting, budgeting, and execution.
Develop data models integrating program financial and technical data to support actionable decision recommendations.
Prepare periodic status reports, coordinate and execute periodic staff meetings and technical interchange meetings, and develop acquisition plans, schedules, and executive program briefings.
Develop, draft, and coordinate overarching program planning and execution documents as prescribed by/tailored from DoDI 5000.02 / Acquisition Framework, and relevant DoD, AF, and local unit policies that pertain to rapid prototyping.
Provide technical and programmatic assessments of contractor design/milestone reviews to assess progress, risks and issues, and the ability to achieve mission requirements.
Provide program element coordination, staffing and monitoring; advise and assist government customer regarding funding commitments, obligations, and expenditures as well as develop and support delivery of program funding documentation and monthly financial reports across the program budget and execution lifecycle.
