About The Position

Cloaked is hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own product narrative and launches end to end across its consumer app, Cloaked Enterprise, and new product lines. The role shapes how features become launches and how the product story reaches customers and the market through social media, press, sales materials, founder channels, and other owned, earned, and paid channels. The position partners with product and engineering from specification through launch and connects technical truth across consumer, enterprise, and investor audiences. The role also owns Cloaked’s recurring consumer feature-release program and produces a weekly Build in Public and founder-content program across channels such as X and LinkedIn. The manager makes products understandable through consumer demos and explainers, enterprise architecture and security materials, integration walkthroughs, technical one-pagers, and working prototypes built with AI tools. This position is based in Cloaked’s New York office and is in person three days a week. Cloaked is a well-funded Series B startup with a distributed team and a hybrid NYC team.

Requirements

  • 3–4 years of experience in product marketing, product management, developer relations, solutions engineering, technical content strategy, or an operator role at a software company serving both consumers and businesses or moving between those markets.
  • A computer science or engineering background, or equivalent demonstrated technical depth.
  • Ability to read code, pull-request diffs, and architecture documents; ask informed technical questions; and understand or quickly learn topics such as data brokers, telephony, call screening, and payment tokenization.
  • Ability to explain a security posture to a CISO’s team without a translator.
  • Ability to build working demos and prototypes using AI coding tools.
  • Experience running product launches end to end and demonstrating awareness or adoption results.
  • Exceptional writing ability across formats, including launch posts, founder social posts, demo scripts, and research reports, while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Comfort ghostwriting in another person’s voice.
  • Experience building or materially growing an audience and understanding how to earn attention on X, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Reddit without a paid budget.
  • Self-directed, fast-working approach, including turning an early-stage feature concept into a narrative, plan, and draft.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in privacy, security, identity, fintech, or AI.
  • Technical content that non-technical audiences understood and shared.
  • A founder or executive content program with a documented cadence and growth.
  • Something shipped independently, such as a side project, app, open-source contribution, or founded product.
  • Experience marketing a security or identity product to a technical buyer.
  • Familiarity with Figma or FigJam, PostHog or comparable product analytics, short-form video and screen-capture production, Webflow, B2B enablement materials, Reddit, Discord, or creator platforms.
  • Security and identity domain fluency and familiarity with the privacy and identity competitive landscape.
  • Being a Cloaked user with a strong point of view on the category.

Responsibilities

  • Own go-to-market narrative for product and feature launches across consumer, enterprise, and new product lines, including positioning, messaging, launch plans, in-app and app-store copy, enterprise sales materials, and channel sequencing.
  • Partner with product and engineering from the specification stage through launch.
  • Own messaging architecture that connects product lines and communicates consistent technical truth to consumers, CISOs, and investors.
  • Translate the enterprise thesis and consumer story into a unified platform narrative and extend that narrative to new product lines before launch.
  • Own the recurring consumer feature-release program, including its cadence, editorial format, naming, and branding.
  • Produce a weekly Build in Public and founder-content program across leadership, product, and engineering channels, writing in each person’s voice.
  • Create consumer-facing demos, teardown videos, and interactive explainers that make product mechanisms understandable.
  • Create enterprise-facing architecture and security-posture explainers, integration walkthroughs, and technical one-pagers.
  • Build working prototypes using AI tools.

Benefits
