About The Position

At OQC, we aren’t just theorising about the future; we’re building it. Born from a philosophy of bold innovation, we’ve successfully transitioned quantum computing from an academic dream into a commercial reality which includes OQC deploying the first quantum computer in the AI Data Centre in New York. As a Senior Product Manager, you will define and shape OQC’s product landscape for the first time, translating cutting-edge quantum hardware into scalable, customer-facing products. You’ll play a pivotal role in connecting global teams, aligning product strategy with real customer demand, and accelerating the adoption of quantum computing through practical, high-impact use cases.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in Product Management or a related technical leadership role
  • Proven experience taking complex or deep-tech products from concept through to live deployment
  • Strong ability to translate technical concepts into customer-facing products and business value
  • Experience working across global teams, bridging technical and commercial stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience in research, data analysis, and market insight
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of the quantum computing landscape and experience working in this field
  • Experience in high-performance computing (HPC), semiconductors, AI infrastructure, or similar advanced technology domains
  • Experience working in a scale-up or emerging technology environment
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Quantum Physics, Chemistry, or a related high-compute field
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple time zones

Responsibilities

  • Define and own OQC’s end-to-end product roadmap, building customer-facing products on top of the existing hardware platform
  • Translate market demand, customer needs, and technical constraints into scalable product and platform offerings
  • Act as the bridge between UK-based engineering/research teams and the emerging NYC applications and algorithms team
  • Partner with global commercial teams (APAC, EMEA, Americas) to align product strategy with regional market demand
  • Lead customer discovery, workshops, and proof-of-value engagements to validate use cases and product direction
  • Develop business cases and value models for product tiers, including deployment models such as data centres and co-location
  • Drive product culture, internal alignment, and execution by translating customer needs into clear product requirements

Benefits

  • The base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $260,000 USD per year.
