D.R. Horton is seeking a Senior Product Manager, Data Platform, to lead a product team of about seven engineers and quality engineers, supported by a Scrum Master. The role will guide the team from foundational data capabilities toward a marketing activation platform. Initially, the position owns the roadmap for data ingestion, modeling, and dashboards, including customer entity, identity, and event foundations needed for marketing. As those foundations mature, the role will lead development of self-service capabilities for audiences, journeys, triggered and broadcast programs, dynamic content, and a next-best-action decisioning engine. Data investments should be planned around the marketing use cases they enable, in close partnership with Data Science so models can integrate with the decisioning engine. The Senior Product Manager owns the data foundation roadmap, backlog, and user stories; defines data contracts, data-quality SLAs, and source onboarding priorities; and establishes customer identity and event taxonomy foundations. Over time, the role defines the vision and strategy for the marketing activation platform and its governance, permissions, and self-service capabilities. The position works with Delivery, Data Science, Marketing, Operations, and IT to prioritize, plan, deliver, and validate product capabilities; define success measures; communicate status and risks; and support training, documentation, and rollout. It also researches trends and competitor capabilities and participates in Agile ceremonies and product demonstrations. This is an in-office role in Arlington, Texas. The role has no direct reports; it leads product direction and priorities through influence and clear product leadership.
