Expedia Group•Seattle, WA
•$173,000 - $277,000

About The Position

Expedia Group is hiring a Senior Product Manager for its Air Platform, which helps travelers find and book flights across its brands and shopping surfaces. The role owns product quality and relevance measurement across Air Search surfaces and recommendations, turning questions about relevance, ranking, and engagement into clear metrics, credible evaluations, and roadmap decisions. The work will influence traveler search and recommendation experiences and help teams assess ranking and personalization changes with confidence. The position spans search quality, recommendation experiences, airline content, marketplace economics, and high-scale systems. It works closely with Ranking and Personalization ML Science, ML Engineering, Search Engineering, Analytics, Marketing, Finance, Airline Supply, and other platform and marketplace teams. The role also helps shape how Expedia flight offers appear across metasearch platforms, search engines, and other acquisition channels. The Senior Product Manager will lead the vision and roadmap for flight search and recommendation quality measurement; define and track product metrics; establish evaluation systems using curated queries, human relevance annotations, and LLM-as-judge scoring; and connect offline model-quality measures with online indicators. The role also leads competitive benchmarking, uses customer insights and experiments to guide investment, and contributes to the long-term Air Search and Recommendations vision and an 18-month air-commerce roadmap.
