About The Position

MedSpeed is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own the strategy, roadmap, and execution of its Partner ecosystem, which includes logistics fulfillment driver apps and B2B integrations. This ecosystem of mobile apps, web apps, and integrations supports MedSpeed’s around-the-clock service. The role leads a focused team of engineers, designers, and QA, partnering with engineering leadership, design, operations, and industry partners to develop these capabilities. The technology environment focuses on Azure and the .NET stack; coding is not required, but close collaboration with engineers is expected. The role calls for strong product judgment: recognizing product strengths and friction, identifying underlying user needs, making decisions amid uncertainty, prioritizing ruthlessly, understanding distinct user personas, and building a coherent product vision. The interview process will assess these capabilities through a portal critique, live prioritization exercise, and discussion of past product decisions. The position is open to candidates local to the Chicagoland area and requires working in the Elmhurst, Illinois office every Thursday. The team is expected to grow from approximately 7 to 13 people, and the Product Manager will contribute to hiring, onboarding, and squad structure. Compensation is $150,000–$165,000, depending on experience, skills, and location, with a discretionary bonus available.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of product management experience, including at least 3 years owning a portfolio of 2–3 solutions; ideally, the portfolio includes a mix of mobile, web, and API integrations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Track record of shipping mobile and web applications on time and with high quality.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including designers, QA, and at least 5 engineers.
  • Strong product discovery skills, including customer conversations, synthesis of feedback, and translation into product decisions.
  • Fluency in modern product delivery practices, including agile ceremonies, Jira backlog management, and collaboration in Figma.
  • Ability to define meaningful success metrics, assess performance across multiple data sources, and use analytics to improve outcomes.
  • Comfort using product analytics, error and observability tools such as Sentry, and BI or SQL when needed; ability to use dashboards and error reports to identify product opportunities.
  • Current, demonstrated use of AI in a daily product management workflow, with the ability to discuss specific uses of Claude or comparable tools.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to understand APIs and common web and mobile architecture concepts and discuss trade-offs substantively with engineers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including writing PRDs, presenting roadmaps to executives, and explaining product rationale to engineers.
  • Local to the Chicagoland area and able to work in the Elmhurst, Illinois office every Thursday.
