About The Position

Veeva Systems is seeking an experienced product manager to own and grow the digital asset management (DAM) capabilities of Veeva Vault PromoMats, a platform life sciences companies use to manage promotional content. The role focuses on helping brand, marketing operations, commercial, and medical affairs teams store, find, reuse, and distribute approved assets more efficiently. The position owns DAM product strategy and the multi-release roadmap across asset ingestion and metadata, search and discovery, rights and usage management, content reuse, and multichannel distribution. The product manager will work with Engineering, UX, QA, and customers to identify high-impact needs, define requirements, and deliver solutions that combine ease of use with the quality, scalability, and auditability required in a regulated industry. The role also considers how AI capabilities such as auto-tagging, semantic search, and generative variations can support DAM workflows. The successful candidate will engage with life sciences brand, marketing operations, creative and agency, medical, and regulatory teams; define and measure customer-value metrics; and partner across Vault product teams, including PromoMats MLR review and claims. They will also help Sales, Services, and Support bring releases to market with appropriate positioning, demonstrations, and documentation.

Requirements

  • 5 or more years of enterprise software product management, engineering, or consulting experience.
  • 2 or more years of hands-on focus on digital asset management, content management, or creative production platforms.
  • Working knowledge of DAM systems, including metadata models and taxonomies, rendition and transcoding, APIs and integrations, and AI/ML applications such as auto-tagging, semantic search, and generative AI.
  • Understanding of content and asset architecture, including storage and delivery, versioning, permissions and rights management, and integration with content management, work management, and distribution channels.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in terms of business value to non-technical Marketing, Creative, Legal, Medical, and Regulatory stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of working with UX and Engineering to build intuitive tools for complex workflows.
  • Experience in Marketing or Marketing Operations, or building products for marketing teams, with an understanding of brand strategy, campaign planning, and content production.
  • Familiarity with brand-team methodologies and workflows, including creative and campaign briefs, agency and studio workflows, brand guidelines and governance, modular content and content supply chain models, omnichannel distribution, and launch readiness.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats or a leading DAM platform such as Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Aprimo, or Bynder.
  • Familiarity with life sciences MLR review processes, 2253 submissions, or Medical Information (MedInfo) workflows.
  • Experience with image, video, and other creative file formats, proofing and review tools, and agency or studio handoffs.
  • Hands-on involvement in brand strategy, brand or product launch planning, or global campaign rollout, including supporting content, claims, and approval cycles.
  • Working knowledge of marketing technology used alongside DAM, including content and experience platforms, marketing work management, marketing automation and CRM, and campaign analytics tools.

  • Define and track customer-value metrics, including asset reuse, time to find and publish approved assets, metadata completeness, and feature adoption.
  • Write clear specifications and partner with Engineering, UX, and QA throughout design, development, and release.
  • Deliver asset-lifecycle capabilities such as automated metadata extraction, rendition and format management, rights and expiration tracking, and distribution of approved assets to downstream channels.
  • Preserve the auditability required by regulated customers while reducing manual effort.
