About The Position

RevStar is seeking a hands-on delivery leader to own the successful execution of AWS migration engagements from kickoff through stabilization. The role brings together technical delivery, solution execution, and client partnership. The position leads cross-functional teams, participates in architecture discussions, and drives risk mitigation to deliver projects on time and within scope.

The role leads migration projects through discovery, planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization; partners with Solutions Architects and Engineers on migration strategies, dependency mapping, and rollback plans; and helps ensure pre-sales architecture plans translate smoothly into delivery. It also serves as the primary delivery point of contact for clients, manages expectations, scope, risks, and escalations, and oversees team operations and delivery governance across active engagements.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in technical delivery leadership, engineering leadership, or consulting within cloud or modernization spaces.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure fundamentals, including networking, compute, storage, and IAM.
• Hands-on experience running large-scale cloud migrations.
• Full lifecycle Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
• A proven track record of driving clarity through technical ambiguity.

Nice To Haves

• Active AWS certification, such as Solutions Architect Associate or Professional.
• Experience with regulated frameworks such as HIPAA, SOC 2, or PCI.
• Professional consulting background.

Responsibilities

• Lead AWS migration projects across discovery, planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
• Partner with Solutions Architects and Engineers on re-host, re-platform, and refactor strategies, dependency mapping, and rollback plans.
• Participate in backlog refinement, estimation, and workstream sequencing to support smooth execution of pre-sales architecture plans.
• Serve as the primary delivery contact for migration clients, managing expectations, scope, risks, and escalations.
• Lead internal and external status calls, aligning migration timelines and success criteria with client business objectives.
• Schedule and lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and identify follow-on modernization and expansion opportunities with Sales and Solutions Architecture.
• Oversee project assignments and team allocations across active engagements, and monitor pending sales forecasts to inform recruiting.
• Lead cross-functional Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Product teams to maintain delivery milestones and transition phases.
• Enforce RevStar quality gates, migration playbooks, and delivery standards using tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
