About The Position

Flexport is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join its Ops Tech product team and own a critical part of the technology used by internal operators to execute global logistics. The role defines the vision and roadmap for import operations technology and delivers features that improve efficiency and reduce costs. The position works across engineering, design, data science, global operations, and commercial teams to address complex logistics execution challenges at scale. Flexport’s platform supports global freight from origin booking through destination execution and final warehouse delivery. Products developed in this role will be used daily by freight operators, drayage teams, customs specialists, and logistics managers. The position requires strong product instincts, analytical skills, and the ability to navigate complex physical and digital logistics workflows.

Requirements

At least 6 years of product management experience or domain-relevant experience, shipping products in complex, data-dense environments.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in SQL, comfort working with complex datasets, and skill in building data-driven metrics frameworks.
Experience building B2B workflow software, internal operator platforms, supply chain execution systems, or freight technology.
Demonstrated ability to streamline intricate operational tasks into intuitive user interfaces for heavy daily users.
Proven ability to collaborate closely with designers, engineers, and frontline operations teams to prioritize features and manage dependencies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly when explaining technical trade-offs, prioritization frameworks, and business impact.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end Ops Tech product strategy and execution roadmap, from problem discovery through launch, adoption, and iteration.
Define and deliver features that improve destination dwell management, control demurrage expenses, and elevate on-time delivery metrics.
Build efficient internal operator tools and AI-driven automation to simplify complex, multi-step freight execution workflows.
Establish quantitative frameworks to track operational metrics, platform health, operator productivity, and cost-to-serve reductions.
Partner with Engineering, Design, Global Operations, and Commercial leadership to translate physical trade constraints into software solutions.
Communicate strategy, trade-offs, and outcomes clearly in executive-facing forums.
