Senior Learning & Engagement Strategist - MD Live - Hybrid

Cigna HealthcareSt. Louis, MO
$113,200 - $188,600Hybrid

About The Position

As Senior Product Manager of Provider Learning & Engagement, you'll define the strategy and drive the delivery of how MDLive's providers onboard, develop, and stay engaged with the platform. You'll partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Clinical Operations, and Compliance to ensure learning and adoption are built into the provider experience from the start. And you'll use AI to personalize at scale, move faster, and raise the bar on what provider education looks like. You'll report directly to the Director of New Product Development & AI Strategy, with a path toward broader provider product strategy as the function scales. This role is for an L&D professional who is looking to think bigger and innovate.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required, bachelor’s degree highly preferred
  • Strong human-centered design practice: you start with the user's problem, not the content solution
  • Experienced L&D professional with a track record of building programs that move outcomes, not just completion rates.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency: you use AI tools in your daily work, you know when to apply them, and stay curious about what's next
  • Comfortable operating in product environments alongside engineers and designers. You know how to translate learning needs into product requirements and ship features
  • Business acumen: you think in metrics, tie your work to outcomes, and can make the case for your decisions in a business context
  • Able to operate autonomously at a senior level and influence cross-functional teams, communicate strategy to senior leaders, and align diverse teams around product experience goals

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in healthcare, telehealth, or provider-facing products
  • Knowledge of EHR, telehealth, or clinical workflow platforms
  • Instructional design credentials or formal HCD training
  • Experience with agentic AI tools or AI-powered content platforms
  • Background in coaching frameworks or clinical quality programs
  • Experience conducting user research or usability testing

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end learning and coaching experience inside the provider portal, understanding how providers learn, what they need, and when they need it.
  • Own the entire provider onboarding experience, eliminating friction and reducing time-to-confident-care-delivery.
  • Develop just-in-time resources, feature education, and continuous learning touchpoints that keep providers informed, capable, and connected to MDLive.
  • Identify and implement AI tools that accelerate content creation, personalize learning experiences, and reduce manual work across the function.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to shape provider portal capabilities—including AI-powered and agentic experiences—ensuring provider learning, adoption, and user experience are designed into the product from conception through launch.
  • Build the infrastructure for provider performance coaching and quality development, connecting learning outcomes to measurable clinical and business results.
