We’ll be scaling even faster in 2026 to keep pace with our customer growth. Owner is a remote-first, global company headquartered in San Francisco, with a sales hub in Toronto. For a few of our roles we prioritize in-person collaboration at one of our office locations. Most of our teammates are distributed throughout the globe. Why we are looking for you: Owner is building the most trusted brand in small business software: a product-led journey that helps restaurant owners understand their opportunity, trust Owner, and take action. The Grader is the #1 way owners start their journey with Owner, and we’re looking for a Product Manager to evolve it into a more powerful system that reaches more owners, increases conversion, and accelerates Owner’s growth rate. This role is 100% remote and can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

Requirements

5+ years of product management experience
Ability to get things done: you have a track record of shipping software that made a difference for your customers
Excellent product sense: you have a good understanding of what makes for a high-quality product and are opinionated about what solutions will be successful
Deep customer empathy: you care about helping your customers and are skilled at performing research to uncover their true needs
Strong data fluency: you effectively gather and integrate quantitative and qualitative data to inform your decision-making and update your intuition
Proficiency handling ambiguity: you make sure your goals are clearly defined and display significant independence in achieving them
Clear written and verbal communication: you’re a force for clarity and alignment, ensuring everyone’s on the same page
Competence with technical complexity: you can understand the high-level architecture of a product and its implications for the customer experience, and you’re comfortable talking with engineers about project scope and tradeoffs

Responsibilities

Own one of the most important products for transforming the customer journey and accelerating growth at Owner.
Increase the percentage of qualified restaurant owners who join Owner after starting with the Grader.
Evolve the Grader from a high-performing funnel into a more powerful growth system across acquisition, evaluation, conversion, and post-purchase launch.
Identify where owners lose trust, get confused, or drop off, then ship improvements that make the path to joining Owner feel clearer, more valuable, and more compelling.
Use data, experimentation, and customer insight to understand the funnel deeply and prioritize the work most likely to increase Owner’s growth rate.
Partner closely with Design and Engineering to create a high-converting, high-trust product experience for restaurant owners.
Collaborate with Analytics, RevOps, Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Launch to connect the Grader journey to the broader Owner growth system.
Work with leadership across Product and GTM to align the roadmap around the highest-leverage opportunities to help more owners join Owner.
