About The Position

As a Senior Product Manager at Zepz, you will lead the strategy and execution for customer funding solutions across WorldRemit and Sendwave. Your primary goals will be to minimize payment processing and acquiring costs, deliver the best funding experience for immigrants sending money internationally, launch new pay-in methods across multiple markets, and drive the replatforming of legacy systems onto our target-state pay-in platform. You'll work closely with engineering, design, finance, compliance, and commercial teams — managing several parallel workstreams across a distributed, cross-functional organization. We move fast with high stability, so you'll need to be comfortable making progress with incomplete or imperfect information. Reporting to the Director of Product, Payments, you will: Own and maintain the product roadmap for customer funding experiences across Sendwave and WorldRemit Identify, evaluate, and launch new pay-in methods across all Zepz send markets Take end-to-end ownership of pay-in performance, reliability, cost, and customer experience Lead the migration from legacy pay-in platforms to our target architecture Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging payment technologies to inform product decisions Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and scheme requirements Use customer data and feedback to drive continuous improvement in conversion, reliability, and experience

Requirements

  • Proven product management experience in fintech or payments, with in-depth knowledge of the global pay-in landscape: payment processing, acquirers, and PSPs
  • A track record of shipping high-quality checkout or payment flows, with measurable impact on conversion, success rates, or cost
  • Data-savviness coupled with an inquisitive and investigative nature. You have a technical background and a broad set of analytics skills. You are driven by curiosity and are not afraid to learn or use new tools, write SQL, dig through tickets, dig into some code, or do whatever else it takes for you to frame questions and get data quickly so you and your teams can better understand a problem and prioritize solutions
  • Comfort working asynchronously in a remote team environment. The broader Payments team and Zepz team spans a multitude of time zones
  • Clear communication skills — you'll be making complex tradeoffs about what's best for our users and our business thoughtfully and collaboratively
  • A genuine curiosity about AI and how it can be applied in your area of work — from accelerating analysis and insight generation, to improving how we design and deliver processes and communications.
  • Practical experience using AI tools in a professional context — whether to connect information, draft content, build frameworks, or create insights from data. We want people who actively use AI to increase productivity, not those who are waiting to be told to.
  • Strong AI literacy — an understanding of what AI assistants can and cannot do, how to prompt effectively, and how to critically evaluate AI-generated output before using it.
  • Awareness of the ethical considerations and responsible use of AI in the workplace, particularly in the context of sensitive data, customer experience, and compliance.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree (or equivalent experience) in a quantitative or technical field such as statistics, economics, engineering, or computer science
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in international payments
  • Creativity, flexibility, and the ability to handle ambiguity gracefully
  • Experience using AI tools in your day-to-day workflow
  • Prior experience using Claude (Anthropic) is a nice-to-have but not essential — what matters most is that you are genuinely engaged with AI as a tool, comfortable experimenting, and eager to share what works with your wider team
