Senior Product Manager, New Clinic Launches

DuetNew York, NY
$175,000 - $200,000Hybrid

About The Position

Duet is a well-funded, early-stage company focused on enabling nurse practitioners (NPs) to build and scale independent practices in underserved communities. We leverage AI-driven tools to support these practices, aiming to improve accessibility and health outcomes. Our network has already demonstrated significant positive impacts, including increased preventative visits and reduced hospitalizations. This role is a unique opportunity to be part of a 0-to-1 product initiative, focusing on productizing the experience of launching new NP-led clinics. You will be responsible for understanding the current launch process in detail, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement, and then leading the development of systems, workflows, and products to make future launches faster, more efficient, and more delightful. The ultimate goal is to create a repeatable system that helps driven NPs successfully fill their practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in product management.
  • Experience with 0-to-1 work, particularly in undefined problem spaces.
  • Founding PM, new-product, or internal-platform experience is relevant.
  • Experience in an operationally complex domain such as healthcare, fintech, logistics, or marketplaces.
  • A proven track record of transforming manual operations into productized solutions, with quantifiable results.
  • Strong experimentation discipline, including hypothesis-driven testing and the ability to interpret results accurately.
  • Technical depth to collaborate effectively with engineers, reason about integrations, data models, and APIs.
  • Ability to evaluate build-versus-buy decisions and prototype when appropriate.
  • Experience with patient or customer acquisition, including paid channels, funnels, CAC, and conversion.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with EHR, practice management, revenue cycle, or credentialing systems.
  • Background in provider enablement, practice management, or small-business enablement platforms.
  • Experience with local or multi-location patient or customer acquisition.
  • Prior experience in an operations role before transitioning to product management.

Responsibilities

  • Shadow practice advisors, join practice calls, and observe credentialing, billing, and EHR onboarding to gain a deep understanding of the launch process.
  • Identify launch bottlenecks, recurring issues, and the most significant pain points for NPs and the company.
  • Own the launch product roadmap, translating learnings into prioritized bets across internal tooling, practice-facing product, and automation.
  • Write product specifications, make necessary tradeoffs, and defend the product sequencing.
  • Design and execute experiments to solve patient acquisition as a product problem, focusing on channels like paid acquisition, directory presence, referral mechanics, and local demand generation.
  • Productize successful acquisition channels to enable scalable cohort-based management.
  • Shape the practice-facing product experience for the first ninety days of a launching practice, ensuring the product supports the relationship over time.
  • Explore and test community and cohort models to enhance peer-to-peer learning and content sharing among launching NPs.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to scope, ship, and iterate on product features, prototyping where efficient.
  • Be technically proficient to contribute to design discussions and honestly assess tradeoffs.
  • Document, instrument, and stabilize each component of the Launcher experience for smooth handover to the core product team.
  • Identify and address the next bottleneck in the launch process.
