About The Position

Babylist Money is a new line of business focused on supporting families beyond the registry. The first product, Early Investor, launched in July 2026 and allows parents to link a college savings account to a child's Babylist fund for contributions. This role will own the Early Investor product experience, focusing on monetization strategy, driving growth, and building user retention. The position is within the Babylist Money organization, reporting to the PM/GM leading the business.

  • Experience owning a product roadmap and defining priorities.
  • Experience with zero-to-one product development, building new products from scratch.
  • Growth-minded approach with a natural inclination for hypothesis generation and experimentation.
  • Technically hands-on, capable of daily collaboration with engineering, self-QA, and asking informed technical questions.
  • Data-driven decision-making, using data to define problems and propose solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with a clear point of view, able to present to leadership and defend work.
  • Organized and systematic approach to tracking progress and communicating plans.
  • Comfortable using AI tools daily to enhance work effectiveness.

Nice To Haves

  • B2C experience, with an understanding of working with a large consumer audience.
  • Strong product instincts and growth experience in any context can translate.

Responsibilities

  • Own Early Investor end-to-end, from ideation to iteration, including defining success metrics, shipping, measuring, and iterating without direct instruction.
  • Drive top-of-funnel growth for Early Investor by identifying key levers, running experiments, and clearly reporting on outcomes.
  • Identify and test monetization strategies beyond transaction fees, such as partnerships and physical products, and build a case for prioritization.
  • Build sticky product features for postpartum families, focusing on milestones like birthdays, college savings, and seasonal events, to encourage return visits to Babylist.
  • Partner daily with an engineering manager and a team of engineers, sharing responsibility for success.
  • Communicate wins, failures, and learnings to leadership in a structured and consistent manner.
