About The Position

As a leader in the Digital Merchandising Transformation, you will be in a unique position to be of service to both our customers and our Merchant associates. You will build Digital Merchandising products to drive differentiated customer-centric store space capabilities. This role supports all markets for Walmart US, Sam's, and International. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership to navigate the international community and a great background in Product Management. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have the right blend of platform and AI technology skills, business knowledge, and a passion for creating disruptive transformation through Intelligent Automation. You are a Product Owner, a visionary, business transformer, and innovator to drive the Space Platform to have the right product at the right place. You like digging into Store Space optimization and doing product research to understand store localization based on market and customer trends. You don't give up until you've identified business opportunities, KPIs, and business outcomes. You're excited about solving complex Store Space Platform Transformation. You're passionate about Artificial Intelligence and its potential. You have experience in developing UX/UI great customer experience. You’re customer/merchant-centric and have a global capabilities mindset to unlock business value. You thrive on Modular, Macro-Space, and Promotional & Events space Capabilities. You’re comfortable influencing others, leading teams, managing stakeholders, getting buy-in from leadership, and communicating clearly in a global user community. You have an agile way of working to improve your team’s products and services in International Markets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in product management.
  • 7 years’ experience in product management or related area.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 4 years’ experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products.
  • Background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices and joining us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart’s accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
  • Masters: Business Administration, Masters: Computer Engineering, Masters: Computer Science

Responsibilities

  • Bring passion to ideate, plan, and ensure Product Capabilities and drive Digital Merchandising Transformation to have the right product at the right place.
  • Apply AI skills to define automation capabilities to empower users with recommendation engines.
  • Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to create enterprise solutions that are reliable, scalable, and secure with great user experience.
  • Develop and enhance products – build capability and tool roadmaps, align business and technical needs, analyze customer and stakeholder needs, identify market strategies, turn customer insights into actionable initiatives, and manage the playbook for the Process Management discipline.
  • Define vision and strategies for the Product Merchandising team, using domain expertise, internal and external best practices, and designing initiatives to mature process discovery.
  • Provide overall direction by analyzing business objectives and customer needs.
