About The Position

Paxos is rebuilding financial infrastructure to be more efficient, inclusive, and trustworthy. The Compliance & Platform Experience team focuses on the shared elements that ensure trust and usability across Paxos's platform. This includes identity verification, compliance workflows, dashboards, notifications, and developer tools. The team operates at the intersection of product, compliance, and engineering, aiming to integrate regulatory requirements with a positive user experience. The Senior Product Manager will have end-to-end ownership of the customer onboarding process, from initial identity verification and compliance checks to activation and ongoing platform use. This role involves partnering with various internal teams and external vendors to create a seamless and compliant experience, with a focus on leveraging AI for compliance tasks.

Requirements

• 6+ years of product management experience, ideally at a high-growth technology company
• Hands-on crypto industry experience at a regulated firm such as an exchange or custodian
• Strong grasp of the global regulatory landscape shaping crypto compliance
• Skilled at stakeholder management, with a track record of aligning executives around competing priorities
• Experience owning a broad, cross-functional portfolio — spanning compliance, operations, money movement, notifications, reporting, and developer tooling
• Data-informed in how you prioritize, using metrics to make the case for trade-offs across a wide-ranging portfolio

Nice To Haves

• Experience evaluating and procuring vendors in a compliance context
• History of partnering closely with compliance or legal teams
• Familiarity with transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, or case management tools
• End-to-end ownership of KYC/KYB or identity-related product areas

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end onboarding and activation experience — from identity verification and KYC/KYB through a customer's first meaningful use of the platform — partnering closely with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Design, and Engineering
• Set the roadmap for the Paxos Dashboard, the primary surface where customers manage their accounts, transact, and access reporting
• Shape our compliance AI agent strategy, identifying where automation can replace manual work across onboarding and ongoing operations
• Own vendor relationships and integrations across the KYC/KYB and transaction monitoring stack
• Build the platform tooling and infrastructure that enables other Paxos teams to deliver five-star experiences in their own products
