About the position
We are seeking an experienced billing and monetization Product Manager to drive conversion and enhance transparency in our billing process. As a product-led growth organization, this role is crucial in converting users and collecting payments. You will collaborate with a talented team of engineers and designers to develop a robust billing platform that supports our mission of revolutionizing workplace communication. This position requires expertise in billing strategy, user experience optimization, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Drive Loom's product strategy for billing and monetization
- Own the end-to-end billing experience, working with design and engineering to create transparency and trust throughout
- Bring out the creativity in your team to identify opportunities for improving user experience and monetization
- Optimize self-serve conversion through rigorous experimentation and metrics focus
- Empower internal teams with billing-related tooling and data
- Support integration of Loom's billing system with internal payment systems, subscription management services, etc.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data, finance & accounting, sales, support, product marketing, etc.
Requirements
- Experienced billing and monetization PM
- Strong product strategy for billing and monetization
- Ability to create transparency and trust in the billing process
- Creative problem-solving skills for improving user experience and monetization
- Data-driven with a focus on experimentation and metrics
- Familiarity with financial and accounting terminology and concepts
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Previous experience with order to cash and subscription billing systems (e.g. Stripe, Zuora, Chargebee) in a B2B enterprise SAAS company (bonus)
- Technically savvy with experience in APIs (bonus)
