Senior Product Manager - AI Enablement

TremendousNew York, NY
$225,000 - $300,000Remote

About The Position

Tremendous is a profitable and growing company that provides a global platform for businesses to send payouts. We are a fully remote company with a high-documentation, low-meeting culture. We are hiring a Senior Product Manager for our AI Enablement team. This team's mission is to make everyone at Tremendous faster by making AI accessible, reliable, and secure across the company. The team builds Rockie (our internal AI agent), internal automations for teams like finance and support, and the infrastructure that makes AI safe to use company-wide. This is a unique PM role where you will own the internal AI product surface end to end, from identifying workflows worth automating to building prototypes and working with engineers to productionize them. You will report to our co-founder / Head of Product and collaborate with a team of fast-moving engineers.

Requirements

  • Professional software engineering experience, including building and shipping production software, with an understanding of security risks associated with AI systems accessing real data and tools.
  • Experience owning a product end to end (e.g., as a technical founder, founding engineer, forward-deployed engineer, or PM).
  • Deep, hands-on AI experience, including shipping LLM-powered systems and daily use of AI tools, with an understanding of agents, evals, and model failure points.
  • Business sense to understand processes in finance or sales teams and identify automatable tasks.
  • A 0-to-1 track record of building products or tools from scratch.
  • Outstanding written communication skills, essential for a documentation-first culture.

Nice To Haves

  • Formal PM experience is a nice to have, not a requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Run discovery across the whole company, sitting with finance, sales, support, and ops to map workflows and identify automations and agents worth building, prioritizing by business impact.
  • Prototype the v1 yourself using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, agent frameworks) to create working versions of agents and automations.
  • Turn prototypes into specifications for engineers to build from, maintaining a pipeline of well-defined, shovel-ready work.
  • Own quality by defining what 'working correctly' means for each automation, including evals, guardrails, edge cases, and observability.
  • Keep the team shipping by clearing blockers, making scope calls, and managing projects through the build phase.
  • Drive adoption by rolling out built automations and iterating with the teams whose work is impacted.
  • Set the vision and roadmap for Rockie and internal agents as internal AI grows.

Benefits

  • Competitive pay and equity
  • Base salary: $225,000 to $300,000
  • 100% covered health (US)
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 12-16 weeks paid parental leave
