About the position
Hotel Engine is seeking Senior Product Managers to join their product development team. The role involves defining the product roadmap, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering new features for customers. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product management, experience with Agile practices, and a solid understanding of web applications. They should also possess data-driven decision-making skills and the ability to effectively communicate with various teams. Responsibilities
- Serve as the product owner/product manager working with domestic Engineering and design teams to build new features for customers.
- Identify opportunities to drive the business forward with a frictionless end-to-end customer experience.
- Maintain a prioritized product roadmap and ranked backlog based on end-user needs while managing urgent stakeholder requests.
- Participate in and lead various aspects of the product development process, including daily stand-ups, requirements gathering, user acceptance testing, demoing product, and ensuring successful deployment.
- Own the success of product features by monitoring success through KPIs and customer behavior data to inform future product iteration.
- Act as the expert for all product metrics in the area of ownership, including tracking daily trends, modeling the impact of new features, and performing deep-dive analysis.
- Effectively communicate with design, engineering, leadership, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Support sales verticals by delivering product demos that communicate product value proposition, features, and benefits for customers.
- Have 5+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in Agile practices such as Kanban and Scrum.
- Have a solid understanding of how web applications work and current technologies.
- Have a proven track record of driving the product development process from beginning to end, including user story definition, refining, commitment, and delivery.
- Demonstrate data-driven decision-making skills.
- Ability to identify and extract product data from multiple different locations.
- Ability to think strategically about the direction of a product while also being hands-on in executing the strategy.
- Experience with owning and managing product features once delivered, including iterating.
Requirements
- 5+ years' of Product Management experience, ideally in Agile practices such as Kanban and Scrum
