About The Position

FIS Management Services, LLC is hiring Senior Product Designers in Jacksonville, Florida. The role leads the design process and champions user-centered principles. It involves conducting in-depth user research, creating user personas, incorporating user feedback, and delivering engaging, intuitive, and seamless design solutions. The designer collaborates with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to turn product vision into design strategies aligned with business goals. The position also develops interactive prototypes and wireframes, mentors designers, leads design reviews, maintains scalable design systems, communicates design decisions, iterates based on feedback and usability testing, and identifies opportunities to improve workflows. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible under company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field, plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation; alternatively, a Master’s degree in one of the listed fields and one year of experience with the stated skills.
• Experience using Figma to produce designs and manage design systems.
• Experience with online whiteboarding and collaboration tools, including FigJam and Miro, to facilitate collaborative design workshops.
• Experience using Jira for workflow tracking in the software development lifecycle.
• Experience creating, planning, and executing moderated and unmoderated user research studies using online tools such as UserTesting.com and User Interviews.
• Experience presenting product design work that demonstrates the design process, problem-solving skills, and impact on end users, or advanced degree design.
• Experience designing software applications in a financial industry context.
• Experience with industry-standard design tools and UX/UI principles.
• Experience designing devices, including web and mobile-native apps, and creating designs using a design system.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews and provide constructive feedback to support high-quality deliverables that address user challenges.
• Create, maintain, and scale design systems to provide consistent, reusable design elements across products.
• Communicate design decisions and rationale to internal stakeholders and development teams.
• Adapt and iterate designs based on feedback, usability testing, and evolving project needs.
• Seek opportunities to improve workflows and processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
