About The Position

The Interiors Engineering Designer creates detailed interior components and system-level designs that combine functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal. The role works with Architecture, Studio Design, Safety, and Manufacturing teams to translate concepts into robust, manufacturable solutions. It requires advanced NX CAD modeling and the application of engineering principles to occupant safety, ergonomics, and assembly, balancing design intent, customer experience, and manufacturing feasibility throughout interior architectural development. The role is hybrid, with at least three on-site workdays per week at the Warren Tech Center, or as otherwise determined by the hiring leader. Relocation assistance is not available. GM does not provide immigration-related sponsorship for this role.
