About The Position

As a Project Designer at Ware Malcomb, you will assist the senior electrical Engineer in planning, designing, and coordinating electrical systems. You will help develop power distribution, lighting, low-voltage, and life safety system designs; prepare construction documents; coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams; and support projects through construction. Applying engineering principles, industry standards, and applicable codes, you will deliver high-quality, code-compliant designs while collaborating with architects, owners, contractors, and internal teams to solve technical challenges and support successful project execution. The role includes contributing to electrical building-system designs and coordinated construction documents and BIM models for commercial, institutional, healthcare, educational, industrial, and mission-critical projects. You will also support project execution through technical problem-solving, field investigations, existing-building assessments, commissioning activities, and construction administration under engineer guidance.
