About The Position

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Senior Product Designers in Jacksonville, Florida. The role leads the design process and champions user-centered principles. It involves researching users, developing personas, incorporating feedback, and delivering intuitive design solutions aligned with the product vision and business goals. The designer collaborates with product managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams; creates prototypes and wireframes; mentors designers; leads design reviews; and develops and scales design systems. The role also communicates design decisions to stakeholders and development teams, iterates based on feedback and usability testing, and looks for ways to improve workflows and processes. Telecommuting or working from home may be permissible under company policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Computer Science, Information Science, or a related field, and three years of experience in the offered job or a related occupation; alternatively, a relevant master’s degree and one year of experience with the specified skills.
• Experience using Figma to produce designs and manage design systems.
• Experience with online whiteboarding and collaboration tools, including FigJam and Miro, to facilitate collaborative design workshops.
• Experience using Jira for workflow tracking in the software development lifecycle.
• Experience creating, planning, and executing moderated and unmoderated user research studies using online tools such as UserTesting.com and User Interviews.
• Experience presenting product design work that demonstrates the design process, problem-solving skills, and impact on end users, or advanced degree design.
• Experience designing software applications in a financial industry context.
• Experience with industry-standard design tools and UX/UI principles.
• Experience designing devices, including web and mobile-native apps, and creating designs using a design system.

• Communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and development teams.
• Adapt and iterate designs based on feedback, usability testing, and project needs.
• Seek opportunities to improve workflows and processes in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
